Danny Chan
Sixteen years spent in banking, navigating the full spectrum of finance, from fundraising to strategic execution, prepared me for today. That experience taught me the importance of structure, discipline, and governance — values that transcend industries. I am here because I believe these principles belong not only in boardrooms but also in classrooms. I am deeply motivated to instill proper governance and bring meaningful change to society through education, ensuring that future generations grow with integrity, wisdom, and purpose. My journey from finance to education is guided by a single belief: real change begins with strong foundations.

I am deeply grateful to my wife and children, who have become the inner drive that keeps me growing beyond what I once thought possible. Parenthood has been a journey of awakening. I can still feel the late nights—cradling my newborn in one arm while finishing my master’s dissertation with the other. Somehow, through exhaustion and wonder, I found the wisdom that with intention and persistence, hope will always find its way back to us.
I believe each child arrives with their own light, their own rhythm, and a path waiting to unfold. My wish is to help nurture a community where every child feels safe to explore, to create, and to grow.

With a law degree, I stumbled upon the trust industry pretty early and spent last 5 years in advising high net worth clients on legacy planning which exposed me to trust/foundation/charities.
My life perspective also changed with my episode of skin issues where patience is the key to healing. I believe all these are no coincidence. It gave me an opportunity to re- learn. It is a preparation for this venture that I have not foresee for myself. I am here to provide the technical legal/structural support to make this non-profit school sustainable. To unlock this alternative education system for our next generation. This I hope, will be my legacy.
